Angela Atkins
I am a ceramic artist and I have occupied a studio space at Coventry Artspace since 1993, where I have had experience of teaching the ceramics group Clay and Fire.
I graduated from Coventry University with a BA in Ceramics in 1994. Since then I have exhibited regularly in local galleries and studios.
My present work is organic in form displaying vessels in various stages of opening and closing. Previous work has been figurative, and a series of coil-built large scale triangular 'containers' which exploit the natural qualities of the clay.
